How tight do you put them on. Been getting my two used too it this morning. But the way it is fitted at the moment if they did decide too pull it over there heads they could on the other hand if I try do it up one more notch they don't like it much.

There necks seem the same thickness as there heads. But they don't seemed bothered by them apart from when I am putting them on.

I guess if they did get snagged under ground being able to pull out of one would be a good thing

put your collar on you ferret so you can still just move it around there neck because when they start working the sets theferrets start to swet and the collers will soon loosen up off them sweting mate and you dont want to dig just for a collar when it has come off the ferret under ground

put the collar on your ferret as tight as possible without strangling the thing lol. make sure you cannot pull the collar over the ferrets head, jobs a good un :thumbs:

Correct!

And for the record bambey ferrets cannot sweat, that's why they suffer so bad in high temps. Nice theory though.

put the collar on good and tight and then then get the ferrit by the scruff and pull his neck skin up towards his head and push the collar towards the shoulder , that stops the collar from coming back over his head also he cant get snaged in any thing hope u understand wat im trying to explain

yea I understand what you mean I don't handle by the scruff as a rule. I used too my terriers but I guess ferrets are ok with that

Start by making a hole in between the holes already there, that way you can get it tight, but not too tight. Now I have 3 collars, I've taped them up with different coloured tape, and each ferret has its own and like a well worn in dog collar, once it wears in, you know where the buckle should be for it to be tight enough. Also, doing this means I can trim a lot of the tag end off the collar, meaning it snags less.
