johnny boy68 11,726
Had one done...........so far so good he's brought a few jills out of season. I mentioned this to my vet and he said its very rare that it does happen. Quote Link to post
Neal 1,875
Sorry but no experience of vasectomised hobs. However, I get my jills spayed and hobs castrated (though currently don't have a hob). It may cost a bit but it means I can keep them all together all year round with no problems. Not quite the advice you were after but it may help. Quote Link to post
shamus 36
ive always had a vasectomised hob and never had a problem although i do know someone who had his done and had the problem you mention, the vet repeated the op and it was fine from then on. Quote Link to post
max abell 196
We have had 3 hobs done over the years and never had a problem you do however have to make sure you leave the hob long enough after the op to insure that he is fireing blanks we left ours for about 4 months before putting them with any jills and as said never had any unwanted litters Quote Link to post
