Its stupid but its stupid the money JD charges a book!

Your kidding mate, have you seen the work that has gone into producing this book? £40 odd quid is more than many folk spend in the pub in one night...........

What difference does it make how much work goes into the book??

Im pretty sure if it wasnt worth while he would have gave up writting books a while ago.

He isn't producing these books for charity is he? You ask why it makes a difference how much goes into the book, well if you have seen it you will be aware no expense has been spared on the production, from the photography to the quality of the presentation. Of course the are written as he enjoys writing and of course the idea is to make a few quid  If you don't think there worth it then its a buyers perogitive not to purchase one.......

Yeah thats why I havnt bought one.

I dont mind paying £20 for a read.

I got running dog addiction and thought was good read.

But I dont agree with £43 for few chad pics and shit dits.

That sort money has nothing to do with the sport

its all to do with makin buckaroones.

Nope, they are in long-term storage, not going anywhere for a good while,no rush, softly softly catchee pristine monkey :D but you know if you keep repeating the £200 mantra your going to talk yourself subliminaly into purchasing it

You`ve not really got a clue have you, Given that you think his books are overpriced, you probably haven`t seen the new book, so you can`t really be in a position to comment,,

Why would anyone write and produce books for no profit ?,,

Why not write him a begging letter,, maybe he`ll gift you one

43.70uk as someone has already said,is not even enough for a night out. I can remember paying almost 40uk for a bull book in the 80's & it ain't a patch on the quality of materials as Darcy's latest. I ain't read it as yet,but it is clear looking at it that it was not produced on the cheap. If the price is too high for some then the easy way out of that was to buy it,read it & sell it.

On top of that Darcy replies & corrects any problems whatsoever to do with damage etc in the post or late arrival.

Through no fault of his own i recieved a damaged box & within several days my replacement was here. Far as i know & have read he is true to his word to everyone.

Great service.............................

It's quite funny 1000 printed, and i wonder how many of those were bought for re-sale? Maybe half?

Mr Darcy prints a book to be read by folk, and half the copies are sat in people attics, waiting to go on ebay at a later date in order to make £££, quite strange.

I wonder how many are actually being enjoyed by people.

who cares the only people who will be annoyed about these books fetching high prices is the people who didnt buy one cheap when they had the chance before they sold out as already been said a books only worth what people will pay for it

haha i purchased 10 mate at £34 a piece im sure ill get £200 + per book ill just sit back and bide my time like the lad said its worth what someone wants to pay and the hare and swift hound has been doing £250 + which in my opinions not as good as of dogs and deer so ive got my self a canny little tax free earner going here goodnight boys

To be honest mate, I dont often bother posting my opinions on others posts but this sort of thing pissess me off no end, basically your a greedy c*nt trying to take advantage of other hunting lads, same as those f*ckin ticket touts who exploit fans at gigs and footie games. Why dont you breed a few litters of pups whilst your at it and sell them at an over inflated price to some gullible lads just getting into the dogs.

Haven't been on here in a while and haven't been shooting in a while so I'm deciding so sell some gear and focus on other things.
Firstly is my BSA lightning tactical xl in .177 comes with hawke hd 3-9x40 scope, one piece mounts and a LED ray gl2 torch with flip up red filter and buffalo river case.
Only fault with the gun is the front sling swivel is missing.
I also have a mad dog growler jacket in APG size medium
A top gun skeet vest size medium
      British army Dpm smock medium-large
British army issue jungle boots size 11
Large jack pike shooting hold all
British army cam net unsure of size but large enough for a personal hide
I would like to see £130 for the rifle but I'm open to offers for everything together in a bundle
Collection only for the rifle but the other items I can post and take paypal payments
      I'm in Warminster Wiltshire
      Thanks
