Lab 10,979
Right folks i've asked this before with not much luck on replies but i'm hoping someone out there knows. I have around a 4/5 acre field that id like to rent out for horses. Now i've no idea what to charge on a weekly/monthly basis and i dont want to over price the place and neither do i want to give it away. Its a bog standard field, completely fenced. There is no stable at the moment but i would be willing to knock something up. So does anyone rent a place or know someone who does and have any idea what a reasonable price would be per horse? Cheers...

Lab 10,979
depends on the services your offering stabling, tac room, water supply, electric etc, They can get water no problem. Apart from that its a field... One thing it has going for it it backs onto the forestry commision woods which has a track all the way round so if they ride them then they wouldn't need to hit a main road. Thanks all Ok you may rip the pish out of the thread now.........

craigyboy 1,274
ive got a field about the same size of labs, its only use is for horses,so i put 5 stables up and let 4 women and a bloke keep their horses their, theres a water supply but apart from the grass they sort their own food out, before i had the stables i used to just let it for grazing through summer and charge £15 per horse per week now with stables its £25 the real horsey people reckons it should be 1 horse per every 2 acres but its not law aslong as its not crammed
