19powell90 89
i have had this setup for a while but never thought of mentioning it. First off pricelist: Torch + Red bulb - £12 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ultrafire-WF-501B-G60-Cree-RED-LED-Flashlight-/300584301528?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Camping_LightsLanternsTorches&hash=item45fc3873d8#ht_1083wt_1219 Long Range Lens - £5.50 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320791788859?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_1368wt_1219 Torch Mount - £5 http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l2736&_nkw=velcro+mount Total - £22.50 Pictures of the set up on my hw100 basically the key to everything is the long range lens on the torch which focuses the red light into a tighter beam which goes further! this set up IS better than the deben max torch with a red filter in terms of light power. i know because i own one and now dont use it. hope you like scott Quote Link to post

spot.me.in.the.dark 5
may i add the real trick to the set up would be to get the 800lm one and it comes in verry handy for lamping with the lurchers aswell as when your shooting.... also they have ajustable focus beam which is great.... i have tried to tell people about this for around a year and the few who have listened are not dissapointed Quote Link to post

ddarren 1
hi would it be ok with an infa red filter to use for night vision with camcorder Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
hi would it be ok with an infa red filter to use for night vision with camcorder No. The LED emits in a very limited band of wavelengths. They don't produce a lot of IR radiation (heat) so you wouldn't get much passing an IR filter. Quote Link to post
