As I have posted I had my old terrier pts a few wks ago, and since been with out a terrier.first time since 2001.

Well tonight I have several pm,s off a member on this site offering me a 2 yr old bitch.

The guy doesnt know me from adam, and i have only seen him at a few shows and never spoken.

 

I just wanted to let people know that there are still some nice folks about in the dog game.

 

im not naming the guy as i dont want him bombarded with messages asking for a dog.

 

He knows who he is and can stand proud

 

once again a big thank you

 

(even though i have not taken up his offer)

Nice to hear, unfortunately it doesn't happen as much as it would have a few years back ! Too many in it for ££££s these days an not in it for the love of the game, that is apart from genuine lads that keep it between themselves and nothing else.... can't blame men for it either, driven to it rather than choice may I add. There are more good guys out there than you realise.I became dog less this year because of a divorce, and lads were offering me dogs to have on loan over the winter and said when they bred in summer a pup has my name on it. Some really generous offers from people I'd only spoken to via forums or friend of a friend.Very humbling in fact.

there are still good lads out there i recentley lost me lurcher and a member off here kindly offered me a dog to get me threw the rest off the season which was very kind off him as i didnt no him in person,dog is doing well now and got me back out again and its greatley appreciated.big thanks 2 john again,

this thread sums up the reason i like this site, despite all the crap there is always decent lads/lasses to be found when the chips are down, alot of things get done that nobody will ever hear about :thumbs: long may it continue
