MUDD 374 Posted December 8, 2011 Report Share Posted December 8, 2011 I agree with keeping it on the lead.. as for pups I would say walk threw as much livestock as possible when young and any reaction from the dog.. a tug of the lead a slap or a slight boot to the back end should soon learn them to take no notice. hellyer189 93 Posted December 8, 2011 Report Share Posted December 8, 2011 I took mine through livestock on a lunge rope and got a firm telling off when looking at them, iv I gave him some length on the lead and he stalked them, id scruff him and say sheep and if I was out lamping and he'd look I'd just say sheep in a deep voice and it kinda worked, ran some thing big he went after it came back through a sheep field and didn't take a look Quote Link to post
