lurchers out of track dogs

who on here has bred/worked good lurchers that are bred directly from track dogs/bitches??? whos had nothing but shite out of them?? id like to hear all the good and bad points, what you all KNOW FOR A FACT AS YOU SEEN IT YOURSELF, not what some tom, dick or harry did 20 years ago lol so this topic only concerns people who have had/bred dogs with half or more greyhound in them, so please dont post about lurcher x lurcher,etc

toe,s can some times be a bad point from the ghound mate as i have found out but all the other,s are fine from the litter alot of thing,s to consider type ground you run ect?but i have seen other dog,s get injured with not alot ghound in them ? Edited December 7, 2011 by black recking it

would give a track hound a wide berth tbh, shit feet. seen a couple of lurcher x coursing hound from pup that were quality. stronger bone, bags of heart and went like missiles

The dam to mine was Irish racing greyhound sire was racing/coursing whippet.. She's as fast as they come with no brains just pure prey drive and prone to injury at nothing..! Shes a good nose on her too..

brd afew over the years had the pick of litts so not to bad ,not got the feet of well bred lurcher to lurcher , but some were very good dogs but more speed than brain at times

I have a pup out of deneside belle (greyhound whippet) put back to a working whippet beaded collie greyhound he is only 8 months but showing slot of promis and his feet are spot on

there is people that select the type of ground they run with the faster type i have noticed mate where i prefer a dog to run any ground

i did mate i used my sprint dog ... the pups are all doing well and are strong types with loads of pace and are not afraid to get stuck in to any quarry ......
