Work them hard 339
I would get her working first mate she will want a good few seasons of real work behind her before you even think of breeding her, She may not work out then you wouldnt want to breed off her. Just make sure you are breeding for the right reasons to produce good working dogs from good working parents, and not just for the money. Good working russels are hard to come by for the very reason that too many untried dogs are being bred from to fill owners pockets and to parade round a show ring. 3 Quote Link to post
panther82 4
Well its not for the money im thinking of doing it for a pup to bring on myself or im considering the option of buying a pup off working stock I have been searching the net for working stock... But yes mate you're right in what you say.. Quote Link to post
FightTheBan 1,147
There are pleanty of good russels in that corner. In fact some of the best I have seen and dug to. But I won't help you breed off a busher, there's enough shite about already. If tour after bushing russela line it with old dorrises pet down the street it won't make any difference. panther82 4
Every dog starts somewhere, these good russsells you refer to started somewhere too. Anyway mate only time wil tell i guess. Edited December 8, 2011 by panther82 Quote Link to post
