milo 74
Well after a good few weeks getting "Rico" fit and manned down to a tee..i eventully had the wind down and ready to go. We arrived at our venue about 9.30 ish,and after about 10 mins off just the usuall mooching around the braken,a bunnie bolts and fast on his tail Rico......the bunnie was jinkining left and right and my lad had him a TREAT the rabbit made a fatal error of breaking cover and running down a nice strip of grass. After prob the best part of an hour we had put up 2 phessies and a few more bunnies but i only managed the one,but what some good decent flying, cant wait till next time Quote Link to post

milo 74
Alright mate the rabbit was taken by following on,he follows a treat now he was going a bit too far in front has i was training him ! but i guees he knows now that im his partner and he waits on great,i was due to hunt him again this morn but the wind is Way too much so il hang fire a day see what happens... Im debating to get hold of some ferrets or a dog to work under him but im just not sure to be honest, has most of the lads that hunt "reynard "with me have no interest in hawking or ferreting and i think ferrets would be hard work on my own,so im swaying more towards a hawking dog..Time will tell Quote Link to post
