scottish carper ingram 40
hi folks, looking for a little help, as many of you know i have a bull grey whippet dog, and a bull grey collie saluki bitch pup, my sister also has a chiwawa jrt, my two are kenneled out the back and my sisters dog is inside, now the problem is, my sisters dog is in heat and with being inside and away from the dog i thought all would be good, but he is constantly whining in the kennel i thought at first with the colder weather finally reaching us that it was getting abit cold for them and that was causing it, they are in a sleeping box inside a shed, so i re-lined the box, added a heavier carpet over the sleeping box entrance and added more blankets, but still he wined away, now for the strange bit, he is more settled in the house closer to the bitch in heat, now having my two in the house is far from ideal and my mum really aint happy with the idea, was just wondering if anyone had experienced the same, knew of a solution or something to help ease the situation, have had some good advise from members on here in the past and i'm hoping someone can help, thanks for taking the time to read my post and look forward to your replys, ingram
3 Turns 326
BIT OF BOTH MATE. HE,S BEING A BITCH,JUST BE HEAVY WITH HIM.
skycat 6,173
Of course he's whining outside as he knows the bitch in heat is inside. Once he's inside he's right there, doesn't need to whine any more, and he's ready to take advantage of her the moment she's ready to stand. Watch out!

scottish carper ingram 40
as for them both being inside they are seperated by a floor to roof stair gate so even when she is ready to stand there is no chance of him getting her as its lined with that micro mesh stuff, sisters dog is is always upstairs and mine usualy in the kennel, ma sister dont even live at home so shes been told to come collect her dog before we end up with a knock on the door from the rspca because of all the whining, and there is no way the pair of them will be staying in the house, woke up to the contents of the bin shredded everywere and soaked in piss and shit, safe to say mum wasnt happy haha so there back out in the kennel
DogMagic 461
You either want to get a mate to look after the bitch untill she is out of season mate or put up with the noise for a week or so. Definately dont keep all 3 in the house even if there is a stairgate in the way. A dog with the scent of fanny in his nostrils can do amazing things to get to a bitch!
