car key problem

Vauxhall.

Enough said

Pile off shite

done 40k miles in mine in 18 months including two 2000 mile trips, nothing gone wrong with it (touch wood!) :thumbs:

 

must admit though, not a big fan of vauxhalls but this one has been a good un :yes:

 

german is the way forward though.

vauxhall astra

 

I have an Astra too, bought private secondhand 8 years ago. The button on the key worked for a few days after I bought it. At that time the local official Vauxhall dealership offered to fix it for £80..........Iv'e been turning the key in the door now for 8 years......

Probably just needs a resync. Unlock the car get in shut the door turn ignition on so just the ignition lights are on without starting it then press and release the lock button on the key remote doors should lock then unlock turn ignition off get out press lock button that should resync the remote

Had the same problem with my girlfriends astra, sorted now thaks to your advice. :thumbs:

Thanks but I just tried this erm a few times :icon_eek: still no luck :cray: guess i will just have to maybe take jacko's advise and put it in and unlock :(
