bird 9,986 Posted December 3, 2011 Report Share Posted December 3, 2011 a mate of mine had a beardie x border x grey 3/4 greyhound in the 80s, it was 27in fawn rough coated strong dog. It was good on rabbits, fox, hare, and few deer. It looked like a bit yank stag hound . It had good wind for 3/4 bred would run all night, and not bad on daytime hare, and smash foxes no prob. It was great dog nice temp, i think the beardie in the mix was strong, it was not like alot of borders which can be over sensitve, he was head strong really bit like bullxs that ive had. He died of cancer at 8 years old shame went quick, if you could get 1 like him he is what i would call alrounder Quote Link to post
