Guest Frank
Thanks folks. As she is not in season as yet, i was just thinking of bringing her out of it when she did came in. I might just let nature take its course and keep an eye on her. Frank.
Guest Frank
My bitch has come into heat now. I rang the vet yesterday and they said that, in order to get the jab, it has to be done before she is in heat Thats fine, just have to keep the wifes fecking shit-zu away from her She lives outside anyway, and it lives indoors. Dawn B 212
Eh? How can they do that, I mean know when she will come in? Never heard of that before, unless it is a new drug of course. Best of luck. dawn.

The vet probably meant the bitch had to be jagged BEFORE she came into season, not the day before she came into season. Any greyhound bitches I have in for racing get jagged when they first arrive then once a month after that. I have found out from past experience that jagging a bitch when she is due her season only pospones it.In other words as soon as the jag has worn off, unless it given again the bitch will come straight into season. He said that, she would have to be jabed when she is out of season, basicly, when a bitch is not in season, it can be jabed, no matter when it is. Hope that makes a wee bit more sense. Thanks all, Frank.
