Elliott 436
It is a problem that has been noted with some HW100's. There's a grub screw where the barrel connects to the action, may just need nipping up. Try not to apply too much force when tightening the silencer in future. If, after nipping up the grub screw, the barrel still turns with light pressure when I'd consider sending the rifle to a gunsmith to secure it for you and/or maybe add another to aid the security. I believe Phil on this forum can offer this service if I am not mistaken. A&M Custom Gunsmiths should be able to sort it for you too. ATB Quote Link to post
Marksman 934
Yes it will affect accuracy, and quite badly too if it is loose enough. I had that problem at the last THL meet where mine came loose during the HFT comp, so I was compensating for distance, wind and the loose barrel......not good!! The Remedy... Take the cylinder off and have a look on the face of the block, you will see an allen head screw in a recess Tighten this up and you should be fine I had an extra one at the top added on mine by A & M (theyre not far from you!!) just to aid security, no more problems!
