how much sealy was in jt or morris's dogs, according to peter tulip(j m) he traced the line they were using and it was just a mix of terriers including a bit of dashund, in a vid of the fm jimmy was interviewed and said the dogs he had looked like the ones on lucas'es book.

a mix of russell types but called saeylams

A mix of working dogs that produced terriers that were sealyham type in appearance. I don't think anyone imagined their line could be traced back to capt. edwards?

Surely what matters is the work these dogs could or couldn't do?

I was told my dog was from his lines but after speaking to him it turned out it was rubbish and what i found with my sealys they took a lot longer than my russels to come on but when they did come they ended up a lot better than the russels for bushing/flushing out but not so hard in the ground as they seem to be more of a bayer than a fighter but mine r only young now and I havent give them fair chance to prove them selfs but I am happy with what they do and for loyalty I don't think theres a better dog
