Top gear is class and Clarksons books and columns are very insightful about the state of modern britain and politically correct bullshit. He may be an ex public schoolboy who earns massive amounts by pissing about in cars we would all like a go in....thats probably why some don't like him.... He does come out with some crap on occasion but he at least has the balls to say what most won't on prime time TV and to hell with the PC tossers. I like Jeremey but I dont know how he has the nerve the say "rest of us work for a living" when some of the people on strikes worked for the NHS or teachers for example. All he does is get paid stupid amounts of money to drive fancy cars in exotic places. FFS!!. I'd never get into politics cause you can never win.....oh and i'm too thick!. He's also been derogatory about the Welsh, the Yanks, the French, etc in the past. He's a funny bloke, and if you can get past his TV caricature and read a few of his books he's actually an intelligent bloke who speaks a lot of sense. Have you ever read the story when he tried to shoot a fox which was killing his chickens.....I cried reading it Got himself tooled up with a dodgy pair of Russian NV goggles, bottle of wine, shotgun & bar stool! ....I get his book at xmas, i think that story was in the one with all his news paper articles from the year made into a book. Didnt he blow a spade or a wheel barrow to bits thinking it was the fox?... I rest my case!! Great advert for pro hunting/shooting Although I agree with most comments about things been blown out of proportion, and also that everyone should be able to speak their mind without such a fuss being made, regardless of everything else I just can't f**ing stand the bloke, he really makes me cringe.
