How do you clean a wound?

Recommended Posts

That's a bit steep CG,i can get it for £10 a bottle, intermuscler.I think myself that salt and water is ok to wash a wound but not good enough to fight infection, you can just imagine what a hungry fox would be pulling at that's why i like to get some type of antibiotics into them.I also use synulox and betadine wash, very good for healing a dogs wounds, also alamyson spray, then everyone has a different way of doing things.

I wouldn't use intermuscular myself. Sub-cutaneous under the skin.

And Fatman that fox bite I took last week didn't even swell and is nearly healed already even though he bit me twice. So I wouldn't be to fast with the anti-biotics.

A good healthy fit terrier will have a good constitution.

The terrier that needs anti-biotics will usually let you know within a half hour after a dig.

It's something that should be learned before letting a terrier go to ground, afterwards is to late.
