dillan 19
Hi Guys, havnt been on here a while, good to be back. Thought Id share my night vision setup. As I cant afford the thousands of pounds for a decent nightscope I thought Id set up one with my camcorder, afterall it has nightvision, takes photos and footage. As you can see I have screwed a digiscope connector to the front of the camcorder. This is then fitted over the scope. The scope needs to be adjusted down to minimun magnification. The finger screws are tightened down lightly and evenly though not fully tightened at this point as adjustments maybe needed. The Tracer max is clipped into position and the infrared filter attached. Turn on the tracer max and point into the dark, turn on the camcorder, set it to nightvision. I usually have it set up on my try pod at waist height for ease. If your batteries are full for your lamp you should see clearly around 50 yards using the viewfinder. Adjustments are made at this point with the panning on the camcorder to ensure you get a full view on the viewfinder. Adjustments can now be made with the fingerscrews to ensure the cross hairs are central to the viewfinder. As you cant see your target in a visible beam you have to search for them in your viewfinder, once located press record and pull the trigger when youve lined up your cross hairs with the target. A still photo taken with camcorder Hope this helps someone Regards Dillan Edited November 29, 2011 by dillan 1 Quote Link to post

dillan 19
http://www.srb-griturn.com/40mm-diameter-eyepiece-sleeve-1335-p.asp Try this site guys, you will need the diameter of your scope and the size of the thread on your camcorder, I put a couple of layers of electricians tape on the scope to make a more snug fit, it also protected the scope from the finger grub screws Regards Dillan Quote Link to post
