PUPS FIRST FOX

Recommended Posts

No mate,as long as you keep hold of its tail aswell it cant bend its back so if you keep it at arms length it cant get hold of you,if you let go of its tail it'll start spinning around till it can get hold of you like a mate of mine did first time i handed him one :laugh: needles to say that fox ran to live another day :laugh:

there is no better feeling than a dog starting his working life especialy if you bred him your self. it happens from time to time that your dog will find unexpectedly, and i,ll hold my hands up here last week part of a post i put up was deleted, i made a mistake.when your dog finds you deal with it as quickly as you can, but ffs read toppers post is it what you want every one to read, and as for david 2363 i will get over it. but i dont think i will get over you telling the world you spade fox,s i congratulate you. admin please delete my access to your site, all the best to those that care.

As above wheaton,try it,i was shown it by an old timer whose handled prob going on thousands that way n never been bit,obviously put your foot on it before you go for a hold but once you've got it you can hold it that way no probs,i only scruff em if i wanted to put it in a bag or box which as you know you cant do anymore.Think about it why would you want hold of the end that your gona shoot? Plus topper obviously had nothing with him to knock it with so if you hold that way you can knock it on a tree etc,you cant do that if you've got hold of its head.Im not saying i always handle em that way it depends on the situation but thats how i would have done it in that situation, im sure you have your own ways and hopefully they're better than what was described at the begining of this thread

Well i have finaly found some time to read all this nonesense and for the record ill explain;

yes i was on my permission about 150 yards from a pheasant pen.

i got hold of the fox and stuck my knife in just behind his front leg and sliced his vital organs he was dead instantly we do it all the time to wild baor and they are a tad bigger than a fox

the comotion i ref to was the dogs going mad nothing else, the fox never said anything

having ran and bred terriers for nearly 40 years i still prefer to have a quite wander around with the dogs without going like arnie swatenigger armoured to the teeth, just in case i bump into freddie fox should i need to dispatch anything i will do it as humainly as possible at the time.

I dont think well i know i did nothing wrong it was just one of those things, and if you ever find yourself in the dock for something similar just hope iam on the bench and i ll throw it out of court. and yes for those who don t know me iam a magistrate :clapper:
