Not all vets are rip off merchants, I would prefer to get a dog to the vets and pay the money than to lose a terrier to something that can be sorted.

If you value the bitch get her to a vet instead of listening to all the old wives tales and then look at your animal husbandry to prevent it happening again. As work them hard says not all vets are rip off merchants

Yes but as long as the dog is sorted it would be money well spent even if you have paid a bit more, As said i would never leave a bitch to pup without atleast trying the vets to see if they can sort it but i suppose it all comes down to how much you value your dogs and their welfare tbh.
