Guest Frank
I have been off the booze for a year and a half. Not that i drank much in the past, but when i use to get drunk, i talked complete rubish and made a fool out of myself, so just stoped. Waist of money if you dont have a good time. So, who enjoys a drink and who does not ect etc, get it all off your chest and type it here. The truth would be good, as i like honesty. Cheers, Frank.
Guest Macnas
I have a few drinks on Monday nights and a few more at home towards the end of the week. I can't drink huge amounts, am usually falling asleep before I can get to the purely blathered stage. Also as I get older, I feel the effects of one-drink-too-many much more severely the day after and take a lot longer to get over it. So I rarely over-do it anymore. Guest The Shaman
Many moons ago as a squaddie I used to drink every night, spent a night or two in the cells at Colchester As I get older (in my 40s now) I find I don't go out as much and can't really be arsed with a pub crawl, I'd rather have a few in one pub, I havn't been to a nightclub in 10 years and I'm a bit like cinderella, home by midnight. I can't see me becoming teetotal in the next couple of years, but I'm certainly cutting back on what I drink. Cheers.

Hello Frank I drink my fair share this time of the year mainly in the evenings when I'm crashed out, I'm not at the stage yet though where I need it but I must admit it helps when things get a bit much. I also talk total crap when I'm drunk but to be Honest I do that when I'm sober , my weak spot is Caffery's! if I buy a case I gurrantee its gone in a couple of evenings.... Cheers Tony

Yokel Matt 918
Broke my collar bone last Sunday after a drunken boast about being good at surfing turned into a bet that i could ride a longboard-scateboard to bottom of a 200yrd steep hill without stacking it Needless to say the hangover didn't help my concentration with the speed wobbles i got two thirds the way down.. and bouncing twice on the concrete before hitting the fence didn't help my collarbone :black eye: There's a moral here somewhere... Yokel Matt 918
Lucky the conversation was surfing... otherwise it would probably end with my standing 200 yrds away holding out a 50p bit between two fingers and you at the other end with your .223 :drunk: Edited April 4, 2007 by LocalYokel
tote 857
Been a while since I had a night on the drink Frank, more than one reason but mainly down to the price. What with having a wife and 3 boys as well as greyhounds, lurchers and ferrets I find money doesn't stretch as much as it used too,I know what i'd rather spend my money on,and it's not
LDR 29
There's a moral here somewhere... Yep there is, it's better being pissed as it dont hurt as much, i managed to stay away from the hospital for 2 days with liquid pain relief.......
