Back to the field.

Recommended Posts

Well on the way home from our little run out,I was passing the field were i took the 18 the other night.I normally try not to do the same place for a week or two,I find that normally stops them getting to lamp shy,Well that and catching what you run.But just couldnt pass it. :D

Any way another 9 in half hour ,forty minutes,They were a little more wary no squatters, but i will leave them now till next month. As a added bonus, when i got home the rat that the dogs have been marking about the place was in the cage trap,So 22 rabbits and a rat,Tony blair would be proud of me.

27 out of 1 field that is un-heard of on any of my permission, especially 18 in a night, well done, I would love to have some ground like that!!!

around my way you have to walk miles for 18 rabbits and every one would be hard earned i can tell you, all short pasture and all well clued up when it comes to the lamp. well done mate

Have never found a field like this my self.I have done plenty of scraping around for rabbits my self in the past.Makes what i have now all the more enjoyable

Fantastic night for you and the dog :clapper:

I did have to look twice at the photo though. At first glance i thought "Jesus, he's caught all those with a Lakie type terrier" :o:laugh:

Believe me she can run like one at times, she has her own style. ;)
