Does anybody have a working miniature or small jack russell?

This is my little JRT , 11" at the shoulder, spans at 12.5" and weighs 12lbs, good nose , works a smart distance, good all rounder, been on coon (above and below), possum, and small enough to get the groundhogs. I'd have no second thoughts about putting him in the ground with a fox. Ive more pics posted of him doing his work on the old fashioned jrt thread

so all terriers have to be big and hard hold till dug too , i wish it was as simple as that , wish i had a key that fitted all me locks aswell

 

everyone has there own opinion on what terriers they want to keep in there kennals and mine is that il keep big dogs over some 9 inch little shit of a dog

you must have encounterd every situation please for give my lack of knowledge

Terrierman your a f*****g clown and everyone knows it. I would always have a smaller terrier in my kennel. Never been one for trenching earths or walking away cos my pig on a leash can't get on.

They most certainly have their uses if they have the heart which imo is far more important than size.

I got no problem with opening a tube up or trenching on for a bigger dog to get up to its quarry might take longer but adleast when it does get to it it has the tools to do the job, some little 7, 9 inch thing would get f*****g smashed by a good sized dog fox, or it would be just chaseing it around the earth all day because it cant hold it. If lads want that crack on but i fuckiing dont, like i said earlier thats my opinoin.

by big i mean bigger than 7-9 mate dogs i dig to are between 12 - 14 which isnt massive
