PhilProp 51
I was wondering if a terrier could still work below ground with one eye. If it was surgically removed. I am askin this as my bitch has got to have her eye removed tomorrow. It is the consiquences of digging i suppose but really am gutted as she was a cracking bitch Quote Link to post

SON OFF SHAM 34
I know of a few dogs that are totally blind and they work fine. Glaucoma it's called common in some lines off terriers. Quote Link to post
elisderyn 496
My old bitch Molly lost her sight in both eyes but still worked perfectly to ground........It was a problem walking her through woods or cover but as soon as I got to the earth away she went. My theory was that she learned to rely on her other senses even more after loosing her sight & afterall down in the dark of an earth their eyes are useless anyway... 1 Quote Link to post
