Glad to hear that mate. Can't remember if shes just under 18 or 19 inches. Might have got that wrong but I'm working away so can't check.

She's on a couple of 5-10 min walks a day now. Taking it super slow with her. She still remembers the retrieve I taught her, was heeling with tha lab and sitting. The injuries are a really big setback though to the training/ ferreting experience etc. Not rushing anything with her as I think that's where I went wrong the last time around. Slowly but surely is what I'm sticking to, means she might be out a lot later than other dogs her age but another serious injury and she's confined to the house for the rest of her life.

She won't be off the lead until feb time, maybe later. Need to stop myself moving on too fast with her. Little by little and I'm sure she will be fine. :D

i wouldnt worry about her being out later mate mines literaly doesnt get to run much she is never of the leash when the others are there as it just encourages carry on which leads to injurys. Your wee bitch looks in fine nick for having the injurys. mine get out while im lamping to begin with usualy about the 8-9 month mark just so she learns to walk to heal and follow the beem etc and stay calm while i run another dog . Then in the spring ill do the same with her ferreting and give her a few sitters on the lamp at about 10-11 monts but nothing major ill not realy start her till next season but what she will have learnt this year will steady her around stock and to keep calm while the others are on a run etc. Like yourself i also want to get them out and started asap but after your first running dog you get the ins and outs and realise taking it slowly is how to go .
