obi2 239 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Share Posted November 27, 2011 Which mix of crosses would you guys recommend for my needs. Got permission with lots of thick cover and all quarry on it. Il be using it for lamping, working with terriers and working thick heavy cover. I haven't much experience with different crosses like deerhounds, wheatons, bedlingtons or bulls as it was collie saluki types I ran. I kook forward to your advice and opinions. Quote Link to post

I found the border crosses weren't to keen on stuff that bit back and would never go full bore Up until recently I run a beardie and a border cross.The beadie I have has got a high pray drive really good nose not much seems to faze him.He is a more determined dog than any of the border x I have had.I use him for rabbit but he has not jacket on anything that has been put in front of him yet.
