bumpted twice in one week

Recommended Posts

bought a lurcher at the begining of last week for not alot of money. meant to have seen a few red ones. tryed it and jacked so nothing ventured nothing gained. bought bull cross of this sight for a fair bit cash with the thinking youve got to pay for what you get. with trial meant to have heart of lion. went to meet the lad. seemed spot on . nice guy. so took the dog . it looked as though its seen a bit and the guy assured me it game as.so thought what the hell i,ll take it . got it home 3 hours of having the dog had it tested. it was in and out like a yo yo. gutted . a spoke to the lad who says its never done that before and would refund my cash. yeah right cant get hold of him now just ringing out. starting to wonder if there is any descent lurcher lads left.

It's EXTREMELY rare that a decent, adult dog is sold ! Even if there is a genuine reason for selling such a dog, they don't need to be advertised. If they are the least bit good, there will be people

your own fault for been a fukcing messer get a pup thats bred rate bring it on ye self no sympathy for ya get a fukcing grip pal

maybe getting a pup off the right stuff and putting the work into it and bringing it on yourself would maybe be a safer option? nothing wrong with getting in older dogs but you can never be sure what

also letting the settle in its new enviroment would produce better results?

Dogs need time to adjust to new owners, methods, etc. Maybe if you tried to put some fitness/training work in with the dog before just taking it out and expecting it to work straight away?

..plus I'd also be very careful about what I posted on an open forum about my activities...

Been for a few trials myself and drove mates to them, And honestly 98% of them wernt what they were made out to be and some FAR from it....

Its hard cause when you ring about a dog and the fellah on the other side of the phone sounds 100%, Ya come for a trial ect ect, You get there and then thats when the back peddleing starts, I think half of them feed you that much shit just so you'll go there and think fcuk it iam here now may aswell take it, Which in truth thats what happens......

The thing iv realised fellah people have different standards, What some people think are top class are other lads average old pot fill lurcher,

Anyone thats sell and up and running lurcher or dog for that matter shouldnt have a problem with showing you a trial if the sale is geninue, And to be honest i would even have a half hour walk in a park/couple of feilds with a young dog just too see what its recall ect like so you know EXACTLY what your buying before you leave......

If they are the least bit good, there will be people waiting to take them on ! And you've just realised there are dodgy people in the dog game ?? LOL !! Never buy an adult without a trial, or better still, get a well bred pup, from proven parents, and bring it on your self.

Cheers.
