elisderyn 496
Joe in 6............Then on to some serious buisness over the water with wright or taylor..............I really dont like these type of fights for our boys though...everything to loose & nothing to gain........f**k Manfredo........He should be over fighting one of the above............or maybe Kessler........ david2363 42
I'm not so sure , Manfredo can bang, and has stamina. will Joe's hands be up to it. Calzaghe is going to have to slap this boy hard to get him out of there.

I was thinking about his hand too, it has been his weak point in recent year or two.
Tina 1
Calzaghe, will beat him, after all Manfredo is only a RUNNER-UP in a reality TV program I'm going for Joe to knock him out in the 8th round, if this fight goes all the way I will be very suprised! Khan is also fighting and Maccarinelli, 2 fighters which I also enjoy watching, I predict wins for them too Gary Locket, Nick cook, Bradley Pryce, Michael Jennings also!! what a night this is going to be I was going to get ring side tickets when it was in March but then they moved it to 7th April which is my sons 15th B'day so I couldn't go *GUTTED* my friends are going though and promised to get some signatures of the boxers (mainly Joe & Khan) so I'm at least happy about that
diggory 130
joe late stoppage
david2363 42
Tina It wasn't really a "reality tv programme" - all wins and losses went on their records. The final between Manfredo and Sergio Mora was a cracking tear up. I actually would love to see Joe win - but Ladbrokes have him at 1/25 and Manfredo is 8/1 so my speculative £50 goes on Manfredo. Is it just me, or would anyone else just love to see Amir Khan get a good mashing? - I'm sure it will happen when he stops knocking over the latest part timers put in front of him. Typical safety first by Frank Warren.
antg 1,765
its not just you david2363. i would love to see someone knock all the f ing curry out of him.then all his family members might get back to their corner shops. frank warren is just nurseing him to get the big $$$$. Cupid Stunt 18
This is a good piece comparing record & style to Chavez Jr http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=10461&more=
Tommy 9
KHAN ................... If he's the future of British Boxing then can we end it now please Khan himself is saying that at this stage in his career he could already beat the likes of Graham Earl and Kevin Mitchell. Graham Earl was stopped in his last fight and personally i feel that his career is over, he's a FIGHTER through and through but they cant keep having Battle after Battle without it taking its toll Kevin Mitchell is by far a greater prospect than Khan. The comentators complain saying he sometimes takes a few shots..........but at least we know he can trade a little as well as stand up and box, if he fought khan a clean shot from Mitchell would end the fight Thats my opinion anyway I think Calzaghe will win on Saturday. If his hands are ok i feel a 6-8 round stoppage Come on Joe All the best Tommy
bill88 6
Absolute mismatch, calzaghe will blast him out of there within 6 round's.At this stage in his career Joe should be thinking about fighting a real world champ, him and kessler would be a cracking fight and would put Joe up there amongst the greats. This is just made for tv shite, and not what Joe need's a his age.He really is a good fighter, but never had the "talk" to go with it,which is why he's never made the money he deserve's. As for Khan, don't get me started, another "overhyped wannabe" at least hamed could back up all the shite he talked.I see in the boxing press he's been calling out Kevin Mitchell, personally i think Mitchell would tear the head off Khan.
