how to insulate breeze block kennels

How do you lads insulate kennels, i have 3 breeze block kennels, and thinking about knocking three into one and insulateing them.

its freezing in winter even with good bedding and raised beds.

i need it doing before i buy another pup

just use boxs mate ply wood with small openening an fill with straw they will be toasty an warm matey

Just buy a few sheets of insulation an line the inside of the kennels with it and then line that with plywood.

Like said mate, batten it out kingspan between battens then thin ply onto battens. Realy easy to do.

That kingspan stuff is great, use it at work in extensions and stuff

thing is about lining out with ply is the dogs pull it to bits as they have done with mine, what do yas think about lining the outside of the breezeblock shell with kingspan and then that corrugated roof sheeting over the kingspan? i know its looking expensive but it will only ever need doing once.

I had the same problem with one of my bull x dogs he's a b***%*d for chewing wood I just lined over the ply with thin sheets of plastic or use some 2 inch mesh screwed to the wall, worked for me.

There's cheaper stuff than kingspan thats the same stuff carnt think of the name just check your builders merchants and haggle the price.

Also if it's just built of breeze blocks I'd get some water proofer and roll or spray it on the outside as you will get damp through the Walls then rotting will take place then you got to start again
