go2ground 152
I have built a few of these for my terriers...They are double walled and insulated (rolled fiberglass), as are the floor and roof...I also set them up on the outside of the kennel to keep the dogs from chewing on them plus it gives them a little more space... 3 Quote Link to post

p3d 879
go2ground and j1985, These are excellent examples of the type of dog houses that could be used. go2ground, Great post, the step by step photo's are spot on. Even if someone can not build these themselves, the step by step could be shown to any handyman. These could not be that expensive to build. ATB Quote Link to post
go2ground 152
j1985, Nice house you built...I like the ceadar siding on it... p3d, Thanks, If I can build them anyone can and price of materials are definitley cheaper than paying for a pre-made one... Quote Link to post

welshwizard 33
I have lined my kennels with similar type of wood and then put a thick layer of pine shavings in, it keeps them warm and smells better too. It also keeps fleas at bay. Quote Link to post
