Question - when birds swarm in to a ball kind of shape is there certain birds in the flock witch lead them in a certain direction are some birds higher in the pecking order witch choose were the swarm of birds goes or are they all acting as one Quote Link to post Share on other sites

A few weeks ago I stood in a carpark at dusk and watched thousands of crows flying round over an adjacent field - it was such a spectacle against the pink darkening sky.
