blan89 159
I'm not a fan of goretex boots. they soak up a lot of water and take a long time to dry.
MOO 730
To me, all these expensive boots might be alright for beating, shooting, lamping etc, but i havent found one that will stand up to a couple seasons digging. I'm beginning to think that a cheap throw away boot is the answer ?? You will go through a pair of boots quicker with a season on the hill than you will a season digging . You'll need to take proper care of them, they're not indestructible. Good boots mind.

I'm beginning to think that a cheap throw away boot is the answer ?? There not digging boots, there hunting boots,,comfort, waterproof with ankle support... not for hammering the soles with the backside of a spade..that will destroy most boots, given time.. Millet 4,497
I bought two pair's of them over 4yr's ago when they where a little bit less pricey..i think they are awsome boot's with exeptional ankle support for my weak right ankle..they have a good sole on them and are really comfortable even when worn for hour's on end..totaly waterproof and not too heavy..one thing i will say that i have not seen anyone else say and that is look after the leather..clean any mud of them and let them dry naturally one a week..when they have dried out treat them with some Meindl sport wax and they will last you for year's..
