stop.end 4,082 Posted November 24, 2011 Report Share Posted November 24, 2011 was off work this last 2 days and took things easy yesterday... got up this morning done the yard and was fcuking about in the shed sorting out tools was finished for bout 11.30..... was a good day for a fox with all the rain down here last night .. so the van needed diesel i said id go and get it over the border so phoned a mate who was lying on the sofa watching jeremy kyle the youth of today lol... now this young guy dont hunt so i said i was going to get diesel and that i was going to take the 2 russell pups and the hound pup a dander after i got diesel if he wanted to come.... get him out in the fresh air and have a laff instead of sitting in da house so he came... diesel got and drove 20 mins away from the petrol station.... i havent checked this place since the summer when i gave it a run for cubs for the farmer anyways....pull up and quick chat and work away so pull off down the lane and pull up at the gate and look in the van and had left the box in the house and collar on the charge ...there were 4 holes round these particular fields and deepest was bout 4 foot so knew i had da bar in the van kept 1 russell in da van and took the hound pup and the other pup..... first hole was bout 100 yards from the van so as i was walking over there the wee hound was well busy tail going like a helicopter so knew 1 had been about at least that morning so let the russell off the lead and me and the mate just strolled along as he ran to the hound..... quietly buzzing to myself thinking we could be on here ... got to the hole no russell and hounds well excited now... didnt want to blight the mates first time so bent down to the hole took a quick listen still no sound so still didnt say i thought we were in lol.... gave it 5 mins and listen could hear him well out in the field ..... so walked back to the van for the bar and spades came back smoked a fag and listened again seemed to be no barking by now so barred a few times and could hear the tell tale grunts but still wasnt exactly on him right yet so another bar or 2 when got the best mark. dug a nice handy 2ft or so too a nasty decent sized hen killer ..... http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z329/marco303/GRIPTODAY003.jpg http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z329/marco303/GRIPTODAY011.jpg http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z329/marco303/GRIPTODAY004.jpg http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z329/marco303/GRIPTODAY001.jpg hound pup loving the craic now lol.... http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z329/marco303/GRIPTODAY019.jpg no lurcher or gun there so let out to run on ....... 4 Quote Link to post

Mudcat there bred from a wee man in ireland mudcat .... no big fancy name ... that was that wee russells 8th dig at 16 months just waiting on there ma who is 8 now to come off heat and hopefully getting her down for a month or 2..... 3 out of the 5 pups love foxes and the other 2 just havent been shown anything yet but i dont own them..... that was the old bitches first litter..... and would have had even better pics the dealer only my battery went dead on the camera the b....ard..... could of got a couple of belters of the hound running on at it after it was let out to run .... was a goood size vixen too atb lads Quote Link to post
