stevemac 434 Posted November 28, 2011 Report Share Posted November 28, 2011 it dosent matter what they were classed as or used to be used for before, they are now more commonley used as gun dogs and are exelant at it, so use one for what ever job you want, they will do it well. but they are gun dogs .... yes they are classified gundog by every Kennel club in the world but then they have been so right about and done the best for so many breeds! but whats in a name a utility hunting dog by any other name is still a ulitity hunting dog .
