mangy1983 51
Obvious answer to the fire alarm one would be switch off all machinery and walk outside using the nearest fire exit in an orderly manner......And queue at the nearest emergency assembly point for a roll-call or name check.Where do you want to be in five years time? That depends upon you, just regurgitate the usual, progression through the company...etc,etc,etc. Yes mate that's another valid point which could be true as they are expanding and taking on new contracts quiet often. cheers Callum

littlefish 585
You could be asked about your attitudes to working as a team member - flexibility, reliability, responsibility, accountabilty, safety, communication. You could be asked what you know about the company, its products, environment and customer market. You could be asked to describe a difficult situation where you helped sort out a problem. 'What would you do in the following situation?' questions, for example if they were short staffed - like need a delivery driver - volunteer to do it!, machine breakdown, accident at work. Be prepared to say you'll go that extra mile, communicate, prioritise, seek advice of your manager, willing to go for training courses. Good luck - hope you reach your goal soon! IanB 0
From experience... If they ask you were you see yourself in 5 years, tell them running the place, they love it, also they might mention other things like health and safety, regulations, why do you want the job, what do you know about the company, what can you offer, whats the hardest decision you've had to make in previous jobs, when have you had to deal with conflicts in the work place, etc.. pat blewitt 41
Just sell yourself, as mentioned earlier, do some research on the company, what are there products etc. They will probably ask about previous employment, what experience you have had, have you any training certificates, first aid etc An open posture is always beneficial, sit with your hands on your knees, look the interveiwers in the eye when they are asking their questions, dont sit with your arms folded looking at the floor. Good luck anyway
