jasper65 6
Got my falconry dvds through this morning going to have a sit down tonight and have a watch. Thanks for your help lads. atb shaun some decent books wouldn't go amiss either shaun . there's plenty at the Library which is the route I took as a lad before buying some, I ended up reading them from cover to cover and reading them again and gleaning the information that was most valueble to me. I kept a diary jotting down the valued info from book to book that would benefit me. the reason for this is many books can me contradictive to each other and confuseing when you read a few, some techniques can be different from one author to another but I found some of the older variety of books was full of valueble info. basics like learning Falconry terms, tieing a falconers knot and even making jesses are all steps in the right direction, also doing your homework on the equipment requied and finally selecting the furniture for the bird you finally take up. I know its all basic stuff to start with but it all helps to point you in the right direction ...... Jasp Quote Link to post
