Jesus fecking christ will ye lot give it a rest ive never heard so much shite in all my life all spouted and taken from fecking books ,the lad has only took the pup out for a mile or 2 gentle walking

Taking a jabbed up pup out for a bit of ferreting sounds like a good idea , walking a nine week old puppy for miles a day sounds like you need a good kick in the bollocks.

if this pup aint doing fox by 3months get rid it should be doing them by now . i dont think it will make the grade but i might be wrong . your a twat

have you ever taken a dog out at a young age or are you just like most people and read books if you havnt taken a dog from a young age how do you know that it is not good for them tiger woods was young when he started golf roger federer was young when he started tennis and they turned out to be good at there chosen sports so whats to say its bad also wolves travel miles to catch there prey do they have problems when they get older or dont they hunt until they are 10 months +

they certainly dont go out hunting at 9 weeks you f*****g dweeb

who said my pup was hunting get yr facts right and you dont know me as a person so dont insult me and keep following the heard like most of the others on here pmsl

your the one who was comparing it to a f*****g wolf mate not me

some folk on here are so far up there own arses its uncomfortable :icon_eek: has anybody ever watched a litter of pups playing?? i dont mean the kind of litter that gets reared in a kitchen or a 2x2 run lol, i mean litter of pups with access to a decent bit of space, free range pups shall we say  well i have an i know for a fact that they cover some distance playing, chasing an generally mucking about, espesially so when the pups hit about 10 weeks old an still in pairs or a larger group, or even a single pup with a playfull older dog to muck about with.. i have an do take my dogs out young, an a few miles a day aint that far, especially if broken up into smaller walks or even just stopping an given pup time to rest during your jaunt, the trick to starting pups early is not to give them too much soon, let them grow with confidence in heaps an you should end up with a very healthy confident dog that knows his job like 2nd nature  ill await the flak, but remember i couldnt give a flying fluck what the folk of this forum think of me :victory:

Walking a 10 week old pup a few miles is a big difference then two 10 week old pups playing together because they go at there own pace not yours.Anyone walking a pup that far that young needs there head looked at.How long does it take you walking 3 or 4 miles with any older dog never mind a 10 week old pup

exercise promotes growth hormones in young dogs/pups, so the walking you done with your pup was not to blame for the height your dog turned out.

I take my pups out round the fields, terriers and lurchers, from 6-7 weeks old,ill walk 100yds and sit down and play, take them to a stream and let them splash about, sit on a warren and let them explore, never walking more than a few hundred yards without stopping for 5 minutes,it teaches them a lot more than sat in a kennel. If you was to take the pups on a regimented walk without frequent rest stops you would do them more harm than good,to take a pup out lamping at such a young age is an act of total stupidity.

let him do what he wants, its his dog but he will be the 1 in tears when its f****d. i HAVE witnessed a dog that has been worked from a young age, walking miles day in day out, running at side of a push bike. You idiots think ur doing it a favour and getting it fit and strong. it will end up with bow legs, joint problems arthritis when its older. the bones are soft and fragile and yes pups runs round yard all day playing with other dogs i know this coz ive got a pup lurcher but after 15 - 20 min he stops and has a rest, your pup cant because your dragging it miles and miles on a f*****g lead. let the pup be a pup and if you want a good working lurcher spend ur time bonding and playing with the pup ( not saying you dont ). throw a ball in garden and get it retrieving, recalling etc. you say all this bollocks wolves walk miles and miles for food etc, i doubt there 9 week old pups do and there wolves not domesticated dogs like we have. u obviously dont care about your dog that much because its not fully inoculated, vets recommend not taking it out for 2 weeks after its last jab

Give over fella it takes half hour at the most to walk 2 miles how the hell is that damaging a pup once a day,and if it takes ye longer than an hour to gentle walk older dogs 3 or 4 miles theres something wrong with ye  older dogs need more than 3 or 4 miles and a poxy hour of walking
