Yes, very popular, and you dont see many for sale!. the MK1 was blighted with poor magazines but most now have MK2 mags which cures the problem and they have regulators fitted with a claimed shot count of 150 plus in .177!

If it was a late mark 1 model and its in fully working order i can imagine that it will be a corker of a rifle pal.

They are great quality with lovely wood work and brilliant accuracy.

Alot of the earlier models had problems and the rifle got a bad name early on. Its now starting to make a come back and is doing very well especially the mark 2 model.

Ive witnessed a new mark 2 shooting straight out the box and i reckon it could compete with any rifle (including all the Daystate hunting models) for quality and accuracy.

My R10 22 is a late mk1 bought new early nov 2010

Due to the bad weather at that time for the first few weeks only shot it in the garden 12yds.

Great pellet on pellet and then bought a combro :icon_eek: 7fbs yes 7fbs.

Off it went back to BSA 2 weeks came back all repacked as a new one with the bits n bobs and spare mag :boogy:

Now shooting at 11fbs so im happy now apart from one thing :hmm: could do with shorter barrell

So off it went again :bye: but this timeto MR J BOWKETT barrell shortening and full blueprint

Apart from the low power setting out of the box this was a very good gun

Now i would'nt part with it AWSOME
