Best Ferreting book for a novice?

I'm looking for a good book on ferreting that is going to cover all aspects for someone new to it.

 

I'm a bit confused because someone slagged of "Ferrets and Ferreting: Guide to Management by Ian C. Rickard" on a similar topic but didn't really say why, yet on another topic someone was suggesting it was the book to get

 

The other main option looks like "Ferreting: An Essential Guide by Simon Whitehead" which i havn't seen any derogative remarks about.

 

Anybody read them both? any thoughts on best for a fast learning novice?

Simon Whitehead book is good and also goes indepth into all the ferret locators

Working Ferrets: Selection, Training and Sport by Jakie drakeford is the best one ive read really down to earth and easy to understand

Both these look good.

Had the pleasure of meeting Simon a couple of weeks ago and then met him again while he was doing a demo a week later, so his is a definite and the other looks interesting and not too bad a price on amazons 2nds
