just f'ckin cowards, I heard a story a few years back of a group of them attacking an old guy while he was fishing...chucked all his stuff in the lake. They only did it cos he was the only one there, they single out young and old people. Report them pal, you're within the law, they're not, simple as that.

Don't be put off just have the farmers number so you can tell him about trespassers. An don't get involved in a war on words. Just tell them you work for the farm and they are trespassing

Report them or at least the incident to the police, then its at least logged and on file. Get a card reg if you can also.

Take someone with you and if it happens again film them on your phone and dont do anything stupid like threaten them with a firearm or knife.

Sure sounds like they where trying to bully you, and that doesn't do anyone favours in the long run. Antis are what they are, everyone has an opinion which they are entitled to.

 

Maybe if you'd bagged a few myxi rabbits, gave them a look and asked whether they preferred the rabbits died a prolonged horrible death, or died quickly of a broken neck it might give them a chance to grasp the benefits of population control and why it can be necessary.

 

Humanely killing a few rabbits that won't go to waste is not worth giving you a hard time over, seeing as you had all the appropriate permissions to boot. I reckon calling the police about it would be best, so if you run into them again, they'll have a note of it. Antis sing from a different hymn sheet, fair enough, but they can't act like vigilantes. I'm not a fan of parents feeding their fat children KFC, but that doesn't give me the right to pick up the bargain bucket and chuck it on the road.....

Shame you didn't have a group of mates about, could have given them a good hiding!! What a day that would have been, ferreting and a tear up. Chuck some fanny in the mix and cant think of a better spent day as a 16 year old.
