When I was younger, my sporting heroes filled me full of pride and optimism and I wanted to be just like them. My top 4..... Daley Thompson.....class act Barry McGuigan......Loved watching the little fella fight! Peter Beardsley......Home grown and a genius with a ball. I can remember his goal against Brighton the season we came up with Keegan. Geoff Capes.....I used to love watching this bloke compete! Anybody remember these boys at the top of their act?
