Binocular harness, what d'you recommend?

Recommended Posts

Certainly not the cheapest i've seen but they look good. Possibley a bit bulky for me, i tend to wear them under a jacket so i can zip the binos inside and out the way. My friend uses butler creeks which he says are good, i just want to be aware of all the options

There are obviously cheaper ones on the market but you did ask for advice so there was no need to buy twice mate I was just pointing you to the best in my view.

I must admit I cant justify the price personally at the moment but when i am in a position to these would be the ones i would buy. Alternative to buy but not a lot cheaper than the Harkila you might like these

I prefer those ones. Im always torn in these situations, do you buy the very best first off then find you hardly use it or buy a cheaper version, use it all the time and wish you'd bought a better one? One of lifes questions lol. Thanks for the links

Maybe some of the guys are thinking too much here mate .A bino harness is just that , a harness .Binos arnt heavy now so please dont spend just because its the 'in' thing .I have a harness from USA ,redhead and its lasted 15 years with no probs .I couldnt go back to the bloody things swinging round the neck on a strap but like i said you dont have to go overboard .

The problems been solved now, I have been warned that i am under no circumstances to buy any until after christmas. I therefore assume someone has bought me some which is nice. Hopefully this thread got read and the links taken from it.

Thanks for all the replies
