Working in the uk

i moved back to uk from ireland after living there for 10 yrs...i know people think its bad here but its worse in ireland alright ..anyway i found even though im british cos i came from ireland it took ages to get anything i was due benefit wise and that, as you have to fill in extra forms etc ..took me 6 months to get some of them...just something to bear in mind if you come over without a job ul need something to live off. Your better off to try get a job to move to if you can and you dont have spare cash .. :thumbs:

well you've put a right downer on my moving over the water now!

oops sorry ...lol...you only have to see news to know ireland was bad .there are still jobs but think theres more here ..i duno im no expert :angel:

Not bothered about work as i can carry on doing what i do anywhere, only thing that puts me off is price for shipping!

i wouldnt have left ireland if didnt have to but its bloody expensive...was 50e everytime saw doctor even kids ..you even have to pay if you go accidents and emergency...love the country but it needs to get cheaper :yes:

i think you could do with getting your facts right TOPPER, i left school 1974 went to work with my dad, by 1976 was in the army, by 1978 stationed in northern ireland, 1982 April 9th on the falkland islands, many other countries between 1983-1992, August 92 the farm where i am still, so no not every one on here is on the dole.
