lurcher dean 39
Heat lamp do you use a heat lamp tracker ,is it in a wooden kennel the one i was looking at on flea bay was 175watt £24 Quote Link to post
jf1970 328
a heat lamp would be the job, when you put it in the kennel make sure it is in the corner, that way if the pup gets to warm there is plenty room for it to move away and cool down. 1 Quote Link to post
jetro 5,349
a 150watt lamp with a good deep straw bed, and the kennel is draft free she should be fine. atb,j. 1 Quote Link to post

Tiny 7 1,694
Mine get nothing but a good draught free box with a bit of carpet over the front with plenty of bedding, Never done mine any harm This year i should have (hopefully) a litter off my bitch due in 23rd dec and she'll have a wood burner and a heat lamp in the out house which IHO she'll need this time of year cause of the litter and to make sure she keeps condtion, But my other will like i say have a decent box and they'll be sound like they've been any other winter (And plenty good food) Quote Link to post
hullhunter 219
i used one of these last year Quote Link to post
pattstaff 157
I would put a temporary divider in and cut the box down in size for a month or two until she gets bigger, carpet flap on the door and a bit of bedding.Presto Quote Link to post
yeti 84
Heat lamp pal is the way to go? Why put all that effort in feeding her right . Walking for miles with them . Just to let them shiver the weight off trying to keep warm . It only costs about 10 p a night . It makes sence ! It dont make them soft I don't think. mine gets It on every night if the temp drops atb yeti Quote Link to post
