hi guys ive got a collie greyhound and about 8 weeks ago she was in season i kept her away from the dog and she got out on the last day of bing in season and she dog had her i brouht her to the vets they told me cum back in 1 week to have the neddle for her went had that and i thort that wud off work she wasn showing in pup so i thort she had missed but this morning at 6 am she pup 8 pups iam guted i didn want her to have pups this was going to b her 1 proper season reason for this post the needle from the vets r a wast of time and money

not good at all buddy. To be fair good Vets are far and few between.

I"ve had a right fu*k about wi mine this past couple of weeks, i will never go to this one again managed to find one that specialises in working dogs.

But you would of thought what you went for should be straight forward prob just bad luck mate.

Are you saying the vet is a waste of time ? Or the needle was a waste of time ? I'd say that people who keep dogs and bitches and can't manage them are a waste of time !

Got caught last day of the season , needle didn,t work , never showed any signs , and then had 8 pups !!!

then i take it you will be culling all pups? or giving em away to pet homes? accidents happen mate they may make top class grafters but there aint many folk who would take the risk from a bitch without at least a 3 or 4 proper seasons under her belt. hope you do what you gotta do!

i tough it 48 hours after bitch is mated you get her injected then not one week later thats what my vet done anway when my bitch was cot must be diffrent for dogs over seas :boogy: :boogy:

I cannot believe anybody with a modicum of commonsense could not possibly notice over 9 weeks that the mutt was not,or showed signs of being in pup.Prat.
