zini 1,939
Nice one Chris, Glad that your mate got a Ultra. What pellets is he using in it? LJ's likes AA Fields in .177 Tonys liked RWS Super Fields in .22 Im training LJ up ready for the HFT comp in June, going to give her some more tutition and see how she does with her Ultra against the £600 to £1200 air rifles, wouldnt it be funny if her £300 Ultra beat some of the more expensive brands? pipa 299
thanks lads, he was over the moon, ill take a bit of credit thow as my dog circled the tree to bring the squizzer into shot for him, lol hi zini, it s a 22 and uses accupell to great affect! i had a play with it and its deadly accurate. LJ will probably beat me as its my first HFT comp and im useless without my rangefinder! ha! id ask for some tuition, but i think you might be quicker training a DERBY winner mate. Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Yes they are deadly accurate straight out the box pal, I love the Ultras and am a massive fan of them. I think ive proven on camera how accurate and good they are when testing LJ's rifle. I know what you mean about being not so good without a LRF. Its the same for me too pal. I can hit most things pretty well out to about 55 / 60 metres with a rifle and LRF on a calm day but without the GunTuff i suffer badly and miss much more. Good that i now mostly shoot .177 and the old r10 gets left at home. She will rise again though im sure soon enough. Si Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Not sure now Chris as I havent spoken to him since i came off the BSA Owners forum almost a year ago. Im getting Lauras Tench regged within the next few weeks for free for a favour i did for someone so i wasnt going to say no. Well worth the money if you want more shots. He will get about 90 shots in .22 from a Tench reg. Quote Link to post
