sauer 2 Posted July 5, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 5, 2005 it was a no bad stalk , ive ot been doing this stalkin ( deer honest! ) caper too long but i was chuffed with it shot at about 90 yards using homeload .2506 calibre and it folded! good bullet placement and minmal carcass damage so im certainly not complaing. guy who was with me reckoned it wasnt very old either and was certainly no sign of previous injury and he was in bloody good nick body wise etc etc. funnily enuff similar beasts taken from there before , like i said im no expert but reckon it could be heridatery? ( spelling?) :search: i know i know the peroxide!!! story behind that i ran out and local town couldnt find any ... sooooo... women who lives acroos the road has her own hairdressers she gives me this super strong stuff which was like wall paper paste and results was as shown so "fanny boy" ( mik your a C$%^T) here gets the slagging i dont give a sh*t i shot it and it was a good un Quote Link to post
kiwi 4 Posted July 5, 2005 Report Share Posted July 5, 2005 think it might be a 'hummel' head, seen heads like it in reds, some stags grow to huge sizes with deformed or no antlers at all, due to damaged nuts they tend bulk up and grow fat like a steer, hormone thing. great looking head with a good story and shot with a great calibre Quote Link to post
