Be a good fight mate wouldnt it.........Kevins been so inactive and Burns has been very active so Burns has probably got the advantage as far as momentum go,s.....ive followed Burns career i think he,s a real good fighter with a lot of qualities......both the Mitchell boys ive known since they were kids there scatty as arseholes Kevins so much of a worrier he,s the type of kid who can go into a fight with a clear mind and look a world beater....or if he has the slightest problem it will get the better of him and he wont perform......all being equal id fancy Mitchell in a straight fight he can box on the outside or tough it out in a slugfest.....im not sure Burns has had to really dig deep yet so if the fight went into deep water id go with Kevin......i didnt like the look of Burns physically in his last fight im not sure hes a natural lightweight myself.

Certainly be an interesting fight though wouldnt it

yes it would gnash, agree with you about the outcome as i know ricky very very well and although he is a dedicated young man and really has his feet on the ground i feel he has reached his limit where as young mitchell at his best or i should say the best i have seen on tv seems to have a bit more in the tank, i know his second last fight he was well beaten but i just have the feeling something was far wrong with the lad which he proved in his last fight. cheers.

Ave you seen anything of a young amateur named frazer Clarke fights at s.heavy I think comes from Neville browns old gym hasnt had too many fights as there was hardly any lads around his age in his weight class but seems to be getting a good bit of support gem English aba

To be honest mate i dont really follow the amateurs only a few of the local boys so no ive never seen him box but i remember having a chat with someone a while back about him i think he was only a touch behind Anthony Joshua for the olympics.....Joshua is a good talent who id expect to go pro after the Olympics so paves the way for Clarke.....isnt he from Bristol or somewhere, anyway best of luck to him if he,s a friend/relative etc

gnasher you see glen foot from sunderland box ,not looking good for him the poor kid ,acted in self defence against a doorman and there taking his licence to box ,and kevin mitchell has super talent burns is good but i think kevin would come out of top ,his bout with kastidis was bad he wasnt ready ,head all over ,and the bout with john murray was the BOUT OF THE YEAR ,danny price boxing again aswell

No like i say mate if its a fighter north of Watford i dont really pay much attention....shame that but its part of the discipline i know its hard for these young lads but if you live the life you dont find yourself in those positions its the sacrifices that make the difference sometimes.....still a tough one for the boy hopefully it wont be a permanent thing.

In fairness Murray wasnt 100% against Kevin he was out on the piss 2 weeks out and 14 lb over.....again,the sacrifices can be the difference, that said stylistically i think Mitchell had his number anyway.

Yes ive seen most of Vinny,s fights my young nephew was training him when he was with Paul Cook but he,s got a bit above himself lately following his brother to go with Frank Warren....he,s had a lot of time out with injury and other problems....thats the trouble a lot of these youngsters are turning pro far too early and spending time treading water to get where they would have been anyway if they,d stayed amateur a while longer.

Nothings in writing with Kevin but personally i think he,ll probably have a rematch with Katsidis around March and if that go,s well no reason why he shouldnt challenge Rios....thats if Murray dont beat him later this year which would set up an obvious rematch with Kevin...dont seem right that Murray gets first crack at Rios but thats the way it go,s sometimes.......Id like to see a Mitchell/Burns contest but it dont make sense for either of them at this stage so thats one possibly for later on.
