The Duncan 802
I tried brancher rooks this year. Just marinaded and fried in butter, like woodpigeon. My god! How can anything taste so surprisingly good???? This coming brancher day, I am looking for as many rookeries as possible! I wouldn't drown the flavour of branchers in a curry, having tasted them without too many other flavours. I reckon simplicity is the order of the day and definitely best served pink. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm! That said, I bet your curry was stunning Cheers Duncan.
